Freeman holds Veterans Day ceremony, presents Quilts of Valor

Through speech, ceremony, and song Freeman Public Schools showed their appreciation for the nation’s veterans.

ADAMS, Neb. - Through speech, ceremony, and song Freeman Public Schools showed their appreciation for the nation’s veterans.

The day began with the singing of the national anthem and color guard display from the local American Legion, a Pledge of allegiance from the Freeman kindergarten class, before awards were presented to the Patriotic Pen and Voice of Democracy winners.

In addition, three Quilts of Valor were presented to Cally and Jerod Ideus of Filley, and Orville Brown of Lincoln.
