LINCOLN, Neb. - The dynasty of Ashland-Greenwood basketball continues.

The Bluejays win their fourth state championship in the last four years, with a 42-39 win over DC West on Saturday in the C-1 final.

The Blue Jays never led until the fourth quarter, but built up and eight point advantage that would hold true for a win.

Ashland-Greenwood was led in scoring by senior and Concordia commit Derek Tonjes with 14 points. Tonjes delivered an early dagger knocking down his only three point make of the game to put the Jays up eight late in the fourth.

DC West was led in scoring by Trey Scheiber with 16.

The Bluejays end their season 28-1 while DC West finishes the year 23-7.
