BEATRICE – The two top officers of the Gage County Board were unanimously reelected during the supervisors’ reorganization meeting, Wednesday.

Erich Tiemann will continue serving as Chairman of the Board and Emily Haxby as Vice-Chairman.  Both were nominated by Supervisor Terry Jurgens of Odell…who said both have done an excellent job in the leadership positions.  Haxby won reelection this year in the Second District of northwest Gage County.

Wednesday was the first regular board meeting for two newly-elected members.   Rex Adams of Blue Springs….who served on the board several years ago, is back as a member following his election victory over Don Schuller in the Sixth District, representing generally the southeastern part of the county. 

Rick Clabaugh, a former Beatrice City Council member and currently on the Beatrice Municipal Airport Advisory Board…won the Fourth District Seat in his race against Dave Swavely…..representing a largely Beatrice District.
