Mak Hatcliff jersey on display at Women's Basketball Hall of Fame

A piece of southeast Nebraska is being represented at a shrine of women's hoops.

CRETE, Neb. - A piece of southeast Nebraska is being represented at a shrine of women's hoops. 

Mak Hatcliff's #23 Doane Tigers jersey is on display at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN. Hatcliff, a Beatrice native, was named GPAC Freshman of the Year in 2022 and GPAC Player of the Year in her junior year. Hatcliff led the conference in scoring for the third straight season and became Doane women's all-time leading scorer. 

The jersey is on display until October of 2025 as Hatcliff is honored in the 2024 Ring of Honor, which more than 100 collegiate and high school female All-Americans across the country.
