Street repairs being made north of the Gage County Courthouse

BEATRICE – Parts of 7^th Street in Beatrice…a northbound one-way street will be closed this week, on a couple of two-block stretches of roadway.

City street crew members will be making asphalt repairs on 7^th from Washington Street to Summit Street during the first phase.  After 3 p.m. Monday, one lane of traffic will be open.

A second phase involves repairs on 7th farther north, between Summit and Arthur Streets. 

Street department officials say it’s hoped that the work will be finished by next week.
