Nebraska Highway 67 to be widened, resurfaced

BEATRICE – Monday, June 3rd is the planned starting date for work on Nebraska Highway 67  from the Nebraska-Kansas state line to the east edge of Pawnee City.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation says Constructors, Inc. of Lincoln is the main contractor for concrete patching, widening, asphalt milling, asphalt overlay and seeding.

Traffic will be maintained and controlled with pilot cars and flaggers and a 12-foot width restriction will be in effect for the entire project.

NDOT officials say completion of the work is expected in November.
