BEATRICE – Two isolated reports of storm-related damage happened in the Beatrice area, during severe thunderstorms Monday night.

Thunderstorm wind damage to an outbuilding was reported at around 7:15 p.m., four miles northwest of Wymore.  A second report, at around 7:20 p.m. described thunderstorm wind damage to a residence with downed power lines, about four miles southeast of Pickrell.

Torrential rains caused flash flood warnings to be issued in extreme southeast Nebraska and northwest Missouri. Thunderstorm wind gusts of 60-to-70 miles-per-hour were reported by observers in the southeast corner of Nebraska.
