Water service restored to area of west Beatrice

Water main break affected a couple of blocks

BEATRICE – Water service has now been restored in a part of west Beatrice where a break in a water main occurred.

The city’s water department notes service was restored at 3:48 p.m., Thursday.  The main break happened near Wiebe and Bismark Streets. 

It caused a shut-off of service from that location to Riverside Park. Crews had been working on repairs and service was restored Thursday afternoon.
