Multiple Drugs Found Inside a Daykin Residence Leads To Arrest

The Jefferson County Sheriff Department arrested a man on drug charges after a search warrant was used on a Daykin residence.

DAYKIN - The Jefferson County Sheriff Department arrested a man on drug charges after a search warrant was used on a Daykin residence.   

At approximately 3:45 Tuesday afternoon, deputies conducted the narcotics search warrant at 706 Francis Street in Daykin.   According to Jefferson County Sheriff Nick Georgi, numerous drugs were found in the shop of the property which included Meth, Marijuana, and THC Wax.   

46 year old Rhett Paul was then taken into custody on charges of possession of a controlled substance,  possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug house, exposing Methamphetamine to a child, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.   

Paul was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.   The investigation is ongoing.
