LINCOLN, Neb. -- An intoxicated man was arrested twice in four hours after his blood alcohol content test results were far more than the legal limit in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers performed a traffic stop near 27th St. and E St. around 9:50 p.m. on Monday. 

Officers said they took 26-year-old Joshua Steckly into custody for a DUI. He was reportedly taken to LifePointe and tested .145 for his blood alcohol content levels. 

According to authorities, Steckly was handed over to a sober party after he was cited for a DUI.

Officials said officers were sent to the 5900 block of Holdrege St. at 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday for a one vehicle accident report.

LPD said the driver of the vehicle was Steckly. Steckly was reportedly still intoxicated. 

According to authorities, Steckly was taken to jail and tested .204 for his BAC levels. Steckly was cited for a DUI, negligent driving, and no insurance.
