A Lincoln resident reportedly found an unknown bullet hole in the ceiling of their room.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Lincoln resident reportedly found an unknown bullet hole in the ceiling of their room.
The Lincoln Police Department said police were sent to the 300 block of W Charleston on Sunday around 10:30 a.m.
Officers said they saw damage to the ceiling and related damage to a clothes dresser. The upstairs apartment had reportedly hosted a party the evening before.
According to authorities, they talked with 21-year-old Sergio Rubio, one of the upstairs residents, and he told them that an unknown guest had discharged a .223 caliber rifle into the floor of the bedroom. Rubio reportedly told the officers that the rifle was stored in a box under his bed.
The report said the officers were examining the room, looking for the gunfire damage, when they found a small plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine inside. Rubio was lodged in jail for possession of a controlled substance.
LPD said the investigation into whom fired the rifle is still ongoing.
