Omaha man sentenced for sex trafficking of a child

An Omaha man is headed to federal prison for sex trafficking charges.

OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha man is headed to federal prison for sex trafficking charges.

40-year-old Earl Jackson was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison last week. Jackson was the subject of an investigation by Council Bluffs Police and the FBI.

Authorities say Jackson and an underage victim drove from Omaha to Chicago in September of last year. The minor was found there.

Investigators say the found that Jackson had posted prostitution ads in the Chicago and Omaha areas many times last year.

Jackson will also face five years of supervised release after his 10-year federal sentence.
