Randy L. Zimmerman, 59, of Elbert, Colorado, died Friday afternoon, June 21, 2019 at the Beatrice Community Hospital following a battle with cancer.  He was born on June 26, 1959 at Beatrice and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1977.  He and Terri lived in Colorado for many years where he was a concrete finisher.  He enjoyed fishing, boating, target practice, yard work, dancing, and especially spending time with his family. 

 

            Survivors include his daughter, Tara (Keifor) Beauchamp of Fowler, Colorado; his son, Adam (Kristy) Brunner of Beatrice; two grandchildren, Kinlee and Lane; Tara’s mother, Terri; father, Arnold Zimmerman of Beatrice; brother, Larry Zimmerman and friend Cathy Rakes of Blue Springs; sisters, Connie (Bruce) Jurgens of Adams, Nancy (Melvin) Reedy of Holmesville, and Betty Johnson of Hickman; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hilda Buhr Zimmerman, infant granddaughter, Brylee Beauchamp, and nephew, Nathan Jurgens.

 

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Fox Funeral Home with Sharon Schuster officiating.  Burial will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family’s choice.  Closed casket visitation will be from 8:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home and then one hour preceding the service on Thursday.  www.foxfuneralhome.net  Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice is in charge of the arrangements.
