BEATRICE, Neb. - The Beatrice Community Hospital & Health Center is partnering with local community leaders over the coming month to update the Gage County 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment.

The assessment builds on previous studies completed in 2017, 2020, and 2023 and is designed to identify current healthcare priorities and how they can better meet the needs of the community.

As part of the process, residents and businesses across Gage County are encouraged to share feedback on local healthcare services and emerging health concerns.

The update will also evaluate progress made since prior assessments.

Hospital CEO Rick Haraldson said the CHNA plays a key role in guiding future planning. He noted that community input helps the hospital make informed decisions, prioritize resources, and continue delivering care that meets the region’s most pressing health needs.
