FAIRBURY, Neb -- The city of Fairbury will be under the guidance of a snow emergency, effective Wednesday February 12, 2025, at 12:00am. until Wednesday February 12, 2025, at 12:00pm.

SNOW EMERGENCY EFFECTIVE

 
Due to the predicted weather forecast, Mayor Kelly Davis has issued a snow emergency for the City of Fairbury, effective Wednesday February 12, 2025, at 12:00am. until Wednesday February 12, 2025, at 12:00pm.

While the snow emergency is in effect, all parking on emergency snow routes is prohibited and parking is prohibited in the downtown district after two inches of snowfall until snow is windrowed to the center of the street. Once the snow has been windrowed, vehicles are allowed to parallel park in this district unless otherwise noted. Vehicles parked in prohibited areas are subject to towing at the owner's expense.
