Lincoln North Star Girls down LSW, Claim first HAC Tournament Title in Program History

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Lincoln North Star girls made history in more ways than one on Saturday.<br/><br/>The Navigators defeated top-seed Lincoln Southwest 50-27 to win the Heartland Athletic Conference Tournament Championship for the first time in program history.

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Lincoln North Star girls made history in more ways than one on Saturday.

The Navigators defeated top-seed Lincoln Southwest 50-27 to win the Heartland Athletic Conference Tournament Championship for the first time in program history.

North Star senior Sarah Gatwech became the program's all time leading scorer, breaking Abby Krieser's record of 1,111 career points, by scoring a game high 18 in the win.
