HEBRON, Neb -- The Thayer County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired Wednesday night in the 400 block of E 6th Street in Davenport, Nebraska. Upon arrival, the Sheriff and Deputies interviewed the reporting party, and after the interview was completed, it was determined that a felonious crime had occurred.

According to a press release from Thayer County Sheriff, David Lee, the suspect, Kevin L. Meyer, age 53, of Davenport, was then taken into custody without incident. Meyer was arrested on charges of terrorist threats and the Use of a weapon to commit a felony.

The Thayer County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Nebraska State Patrol.
