Carper steps down as Beatrice Volleyball Head Coach

BEATRICE, Neb - The Beatrice Volleyball team will need to begin a search for a new head coach. 

According to a release from Beatrice High School, Melissa Carper has resigned from her role as head coach of Beatrice Volleyball. Carper did two separate tenures as Beatrice's head coach, first from 2007-2014, then from 2019-2023. 

Carper led the Lady O to three state tournament appearences. Carper plans to continue working with youth programs in the community.
