Water work near new Beatrice school project closes street, temporarily

Water line work across Lincoln Street expected to last through Friday

BEATRICE - The Beatrice City Water Department is doing work near the site of a new school project in east Beatrice.

The city announced Wednesday that Lincoln Street will be closed between 30th and 33rd Street to install water service lines to the new elementary school site where construction has been underway.

The water line work is expected to be going on through Friday.

Traffic access is open to the Beatrice State Developmental Center at 30th from Lincoln Street and also from 33rd Street.
