LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Lincoln woman reported that her roommate had recorded her showering without her knowledge.

The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to the 2100 block of Park St. on Sunday around 5:30 p.m. for a reported disturbance.

Officers said they talked to the 22-year-old female victim. She told officers that she found an iPhone reportedly hidden on a shelf in her bathroom and that it was recording her in the shower. The victim reported that she grabbed the phone, saw it was actively recording, and found that it had previous recordings of her in the bathroom.

According to authorities, the phone belonged to her roommate, 24-year-old Austin Giles. Giles allowed the officers to go through his phone and they found 18 more videos, similar to the the previous one. The videos reportedly dated back to August of this year.

LPD said Giles was cited for a felony in unlawful intrusion and lodged in jail.
