UPDATE: One man arrested after pursuit, standoff Monday night

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A man was arrested after a pursuit where he hit three vehicles in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Police Department said officers were sent to Kwik Shop, 14th St. and Adams St., around 9:00 p.m. on Monday for a report of a person down.
Officers said a person passing by reported seeing another person passed out in his vehicle. The person in the vehicle was later identified as 25-year-old Delano Proctor.
According to authorities, they tried to wake Proctor up but his vehicle was locked. Lincoln Fire and Rescue came to help when Proctor woke up. Proctor reportedly started his vehicle and was looking for a way to leave after he saw the officers.
Officials said Proctor backed up and almost pinned an officer between vehicles. Proctor reportedly tried to drive forward again before backing up and hitting a police cruiser and a different vehicle. Proctor then left the parking lot.
LPD said officers pursued Proctor south of the area when Proctor hit another vehicle near 14th St. and Military St. and his car stopped working. Officers reportedly told Proctor to get out of his vehicle for several minutes but he refused to do so and tried to move his vehicle.
Police said a trooper with Nebraska State Patrol shot pepper balls into Proctor's vehicle and they were able to take him into custody. The driver of the vehicle that Proctor hit was reportedly uninjured.
According to authorities, Proctor was arrested for felonies in second-degree attempted assault on an officer, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and flee to avoid arrest along with being cited/released for misdemeanors in resisting arrest, willful reckless driving, leave scene of accident, first offense DUI, refuse chemical test, open container in motor vehicle, driving during suspension, no proof ownership and no proof insurance.
