FAIRBURY - Jefferson Community Health and Life in Fairbury is once again planning a women's health day which is a convenient way to take control of their health. 

JCHL's Public Relations Director, Lana Likens says the day is set up for women to complete their annual health checks done at the same time.   "Women's Health Day is a great wellness experience designed for women to get everything they need done for the year in 3 hours."   

The day includes important health screenings like fasting lab tests, a mammogram, and a routine annual exam.  The day also includes reserved parking, a complimentary breakfast and a relaxing indulgence such as an express manicure or hand massage.   

Erin Starr who is the Chief Nursing Officer says they created the day as a way for women to make time for their own health in a couple hours, as life can sometimes gets in the way.   “We created Women’s Health Day to provide a convenient way for women to get their essential health screenings all at once, while also taking time to unwind.”

Jefferson Community Health & Life is now scheduling for the experience on Tuesday, Nov. 29, and Wednesday, Dec. 21. and appointments start as early as 6:30 a.m.  All major insurance plans are accepted.  For more information or to make an appointment call Jefferson Community Health and Life at 402.729.6841.
