Local bakery is Main Street Beatrice People's Choice

BEATRICE – The votes have been tabulated for the eleventh annual Downtown Beatrice Holiday Store Front Display Contest for the People's Choice award, with well over three hundred ballots cast in the contest.

The 2021 theme, “A Storybook Christmas" provided inspiration for many of the downtown merchants.

The 2021 People’s Choice contest winner was the display put together by Sunrise Bakery, getting nearly a third of all the votes cast. Scheer Quality Furniture came in a near second. Nebraska Title Company claimed third place.

Twelve downtown businesses participated in the contest this year with many additional business sporting holiday displays.
