Lincoln Police investigating dead body found near shopping center

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities in southeastern Nebraska are investigating a death near several Lincoln businesses.

The Lincoln Police Department says officer were called around 7:30 a.m. Monday to the Edgewood Shopping Center near 56th and Old Cheney Road.

Authorities say a deceased person was found in the parking lot near Super Saver.

The investigation is ongoing.
