ALLIANCE, Neb. — The Alliance Police Department is proud to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive, department-wide technology upgrade aimed at enhancing officer effectiveness, transparency, and public safety.

Over the past week, the department partnered with OnScene Dynamics to install new in-car technology across the entire patrol fleet. This upgrade includes state-of-the-art GETAC in-car laptop systems and integrated dash camera units in every patrol vehicle, ensuring consistent performance, reliability, and improved data capabilities in the field.

In addition to the in-car systems, every sworn officer has been equipped with new body-worn cameras, further strengthening the department’s commitment to accountability, evidence collection, and community trust.

“This was a significant undertaking for our fleet,” said Sergeant Parker Dahlberg, Fleet Manager for the Alliance Police Department. “A project of this scale requires coordination, professionalism, and teamwork. Our officers worked side-by-side with the installation team to ensure every unit was properly outfitted and operational. The result is a major step forward in how we support our officers in the field.”

The upgrade was executed as a full fleet initiative, with each vehicle and system carefully installed, configured, and tested to ensure uniform functionality across the department.

The department is also preparing to place three new 2026 Dodge Durango Pursuit vehicles into service in the near future, further modernizing the fleet and enhancing operational readiness.

Chief David Leavitt added, “We are grateful to OnScene Dynamics for their expertise and dedication throughout this process. Their team’s professionalism and collaboration made this project a success.”

This investment reflects the Alliance Police Department’s continued focus on modernization, officer safety, and delivering high-quality law enforcement services to the community.
