This week on NCN's Doane Coach Conversations series, Doane head football coach Jonathan Johnson breaks down his team's last game against Mount Marty, shares what the focuses were during Doane's second bye week, and previews this weekend's contest against Briar Cliff.

What are the Tigers keyed in on this week? Coach Johnson says explosive plays - producing more on offense and limiting them on defense - and third downs - picking them up on offense and stopping them on defense - will be critical as the Tigers enter their final stretch of games in the 2025 campaign. Johnson stresses that his team has consistently been "one play away" and if they can learn to "steady the ship" they can finish strong in their final four games.

Doane will make its longest road trip of the season so far to begin the stretch run of the season this Saturday afternoon in Sioux City against Briar Cliff. You can watch the game on the GPAC Network. And those in the Crete and Southeast Nebraska can listen to the game on 99.5 FM, and every game will also air live online at olred995.com. Coverage begins at 12:30 PM with kickoff to follow at 1.
