This week on NCN's Doane Coach Conversations series, Doane head football coach Jonathan Johnson discusses how his team's persistent belief helped lead them to a "gutsy" last-minute win over Midland, their first of the season, last Saturday in Fremont.

Now armed with a win, Doane will host its own Homecoming this Saturday in Crete. Johnson outlines part of the plan for this week's festivities, and breaks down what to expect in the centerpiece of the weekend: the Homecoming football game itself, which will feature the GPAC's all-Tiger tussle as Doane hosts Dakota Wesleyan.

You can watch the Tigers' game against Dakota Wesleyan - and every Doane home game this season - live on News Channel Nebraska. Coverage on Saturday starts at 12:50 PM with kickoff to follow at 1 PM. And those in the Crete and Southeast Nebraska can listen to the game on 99.5 FM, and every game will also air live online at olred995.com.
