LINCOLN, Neb. - For much of 2024, the main story of Nebraska Football was freshman phenom quarterback Dylan Raiola.

The same will likely be the case in 2025, as Raiola looks to take big strides in his sophomore season. In 2024, Raiola ranked 7th overall in the Big Ten in passing yards and 12th in touchdowns with 13 - but on the flip side, Raiola also ranked towards the top in interceptions with 11.

During Tuesday's Big Ten Media Days press conference Nebraska Head Coach Matt Rhule emphasized Raiola's growth in both responsibility and accountability.

"He now embraces when he's frustrated and when things aren't going well," Rhule said. "When things aren't going well, he puts it on himself. He says 'I'll fix this'... Our team is going to play for Dylan and I love coaching the kid."

The Huskers kick the season off on Aug. 28 against Cincinnati at GEHA Field at Arrowhead in Kansas City.
