BEATRICE – An order to boil water in the Wymore Rural Water District has been lifted, by the Lower Big Blue Natural Resources District.

The boil order had been instituted as a precaution over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, due to a break in a water line.  Repairs to the line and testing of the water followed.

NRD officials say water samples that have been submitted and tested have come up negative, for total coliform and E.coli bacteria.  So, the boil restriction is no longer in place.
