Small fire started at back of business sends fire personnel to east Beatrice

BEATRICE – A juvenile starting a small fire sent Beatrice Firefighters to the Ten Pinz Fun Center, on Saturday.

A fire captain says the fire outside the rear of the bowling alley and entertainment center, caused some smoke to drift inside the business, but there was no physical damage.  

Firefighters were dispatched at 3:46 p.m. Saturday, on an initial report of smoke coming from the roof of the business.  After fire and police cleared the scene, the business was able to resume operation.
