Elizabeth Louise Timmerman, fondly known as "Peach," passed away on February 11, 2025. Born on June 18, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, Elizabeth was a dedicated, reliable, and resilient woman. She was also thoughtful, always putting her family first, which was what mattered most to her.

She was a graduate of North Hills (PA) High School, and later served as a secretary for Professional Library Services in Pittsburgh before dedicating herself full-time to her home and family. Always a reliable member of her community, Elizabeth served as the Vice President for the Crafton-Ingram-Thornburg (CIT) Youth Baseball League in Pittsburgh, where she was in charge of candy stand concessions among other duties—and years later she was active in the Purple Hat Society while living in Franklin, Kentucky. She was married to Donald R. Miller for 25 years. Elizabeth was then married to Richard Timmerman on April 5, 1997, in a union that lasted until his passing.

Elizabeth was an avid lover of playing cards, baking, cooking, gardening, flowers, and watching baseball and football games. She brought music into the lives of those around her by playing the organ and singing in various church choirs. She also had a passion for collecting Hummel figurines and butterfly decor items. Elizabeth also enjoyed traveling the country, accompanying Richard to his barbershop singing events. She was a member of the Christ Community Church in Beatrice, NE. As someone once said, "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well."

Elizabeth is survived by her son Daniel (Bo) Miller of Los Angeles; stepsons Ryan (Missy) Timmerman, Rick (Kris) Timmerman, all of Beatrice; grandchildren: Jeffrey Bader, Amanda Bader and Gabriel Bader; step-grandchildren: Grace Timmerman, Megan Timmerman, Becca (Brandon) Marks, Jessie Timmerman, Addy Timmerman, Tucker Timmerman and Brock Huston; her brother, Thomas Nist; nephew-in-law, Timothy Swisher and his daughter Melanie (Eduardo); and other extended family. Her sisters-in-law Jane (Harry) Krebs, Martha (Greg) Olds, and Mary (Donald) Leggat; and brother-in-law Dave (Karen) Timmerman and nephews-in-laws Sean & Rob and niece-in-law Keri also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Nist and Genevieve (Root) Nist; her husband, Richard Timmerman (2024); her daughter, Mindy Bader; her brothers, Robert Nist and Eugene Nist; her sister, Olive Argentah; her niece, Barbara Swisher; and her stepson, Russell Timmerman.
