Two teens sustain minor injuries in rollover accident
Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover at about 3:48 p.m. A juvenile driver and his passenger sustained minor injuries.

SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY -- At about 3:48 p.m. Thursday, February 6, deputies responded to a reported injury accident/rollover east of the intersection of Sugar Factory Road and Lake Minatare Road.
Callers reported that the vehicle was on its top in the ditch and smoking.
A few minutes later, witnesses stated that the occupants were out of the vehicle, and one was complaining of shoulder pain and the other of a headache.
Investigation revealed that the juvenile male driver and his juvenile male passenger were eastbound on Lake Minatare Road in an Acura MDX exceeding the speed limit. The vehicle slid through the intersection at Sugar Factory Road and eventually lost control and rolled 6.5 times before coming to rest on its top south of the road. Witnesses at the scene assisted the two occupants in getting out of the vehicle.
The driver, a 15-year-old male from rural Minatare, was transported by family to Regional West Medical Center. His injuries appear to be minor and non-life-threatening.
He was cited for Willful Reckless Driving and Violating a Stop Sign.
The passenger, a 16-year-old from rural Minatare, was transported to Regional West Medical Center by Regional West ambulance. His injuries also appear to be minor and non-life-threatening, according to the Scotts Bluff Sheriff's Department.
Seat belts were in use and there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved, the Scotts Bluff Sheriff's Department reported.
The Scottsbluff Rural Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
