Jordan Larson moving on from Huskers coaching staff

LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska volleyball head coach John Cook announced Monday that assistant coach Jordan Larson is moving on from the Huskers coaching staff after two seasons.
“Following the season, Jordan Larson informed me that she has decided to move on from being part of our coaching staff,” Cook said in a statement. “While I am disappointed we won’t have her on staff anymore, I am thankful to Jordan for all that she has done for our program over these past two seasons.”
Larson is a legend in the world of volleyball, having been both an Olympian and standout college product, while also currently participating professionally for LOVB Volleyball in Omaha. Cook credits Larson for recent success within the program.
“It wasn’t easy for her while balancing the Olympics and a professional playing career at the same time,” Cook said. “She gave everything she had to our players and to the Nebraska volleyball program, and she will be missed.”
During her two years with Nebraska, the Huskers went an incredible 66-5 and reached the semifinals in 2023 and 2024, with a trip to the national championship in 2023.
Cook also wishes Larson well in career moving forward.
“It has been fun watching Jordan begin her LOVB Omaha career, and we hope she has a great season.”
