LINCOLN, Neb. - As Nebraska continues to prepare for the next weekend's Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium against Boston College, it's also led to more practices.

Therefore, more opportunity for new offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen to craft an offensive scheme. Holgorsen was hired as an offensive analyst on Nov. 5 before becoming offensive coordinator ahead of the USC game, taking over duties from Marcus Satterfield.

Head Coach Matt Rhule says Holgorsen continues to build an identity within the offense.

"I think what he's doing is narrowing down who we are and what we do," Rhule said. "He's running it [the offense] he's in charge of it and who we are moving forward will more come down to who we have and what they're good at more than anything else."

In three games with Holgorsen as offensive coordinator, Nebraska averaged 349 yards per game and put up their highest scoring total of the season in a 44-25 win over Wisconsin.

Nebraska and Boston College kick off in the Pinstripe Bowl at 11:00 a.m. central time on ABC.
