YORK COUNTY, Neb. -- Authorities in York County say they found about 400 pounds of marijuana in a motorhome on Sunday.

Around 11:24 a.m. Sunday, a deputy with the York County Sheriff's Office said they pulled over a 2024 Coachman Pursuit motorhome on Interstate 80, just before S Lincoln Ave.

During the traffic stop, the deputy said he witnessed multiple indicators that led him to believe the driver was involved in criminal activity.

The Sheriff's Office said the deputy deployed his Police Service Dog, Loki, on the vehicle where PSD Loki alerted to the smell of controlled substances coming from inside the motorhome.

Deputies then searched the vehicle and found about 400 pounds of marijuana in the back of the motorhome.

The driver was taken into custody and transported to the York County Jail on suspicion of marijuana trafficking charges.
