Man wearing shower curtain robs Lincoln liquor store

A man, reportedly covering himself with a shower curtain, robbed a Lincoln liquor store early Tuesday morning.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A man, reportedly covering himself with a shower curtain, robbed a Lincoln liquor store early Tuesday morning.

Lincoln Police were called to Mum’s Liquor on O Street for a report of a robbery at 12:46 a.m. on Tuesday. An employee told police an unknown man, about 5′10″ and weighing 180 lbs. entered the store just after midnight. The man was described as wearing a black hoodie with pink bands on the shoulders, a mask, gloves, and a shower curtain over his body.

The employee said the man ran behind the counter, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. He then left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The shower curtain was recovered and no injuries were reported. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
