BEATRICE – Gage County law officers arrested a suspect in a burglary between Plymouth and Beatrice.

Deputies were dispatched to the scene early last Wednesday afternoon, when a person calling in the burglary had received a video from a home security system.  It showed a white male inside the home.

A sheriff’s investigator and deputy were near the scene and responded.   They found a basement window that had been broken out, was the point of entry.

The suspect, identified as 43-year-old Barry Wayne Lomax, of Beatrice, was located later at his home and arrested on suspicion of burglary, attempted theft and criminal mischief.
