Former Beatrice officer arrested on alleged electronic communication violations, stalking

BEATRICE – A former Beatrice Police officer has been arrested in an investigation into unlawful intrusion and stalking.


Gage County Sheriff Millard Gustafson said that Monday morning, sheriff’s officers arrested 41-year-old Anthony Chisano, of Lincoln….formerly of Beatrice….following an investigation that was aided by the Nebraska State Patrol.


Chisano was arrested at his Lincoln home and later booked into the Gage County Jail, on suspicion of unlawful intrusion of electronic communication, unlawful interception of electronic communication and stalking.


No other details were released as to what led to the investigation or the booking. As of Friday morning, Chisano was no longer listed as being held at the county jail, having posted bond for his release.
