LSO investigating body found in southwest Lancaster County

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found in the southwest portion of Lancaster County.

LANCASTER COUNTY - The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found in the southwest portion of Lancaster County. 

On Tuesday, at round 9:40 a.m., LSO received a call from a citizen reporting a deceased human body in a ditch about a half-mile south of Hwy 33 on SW 128th St. At this time, the body has been identified as an unknown race, adult male at 5'4" tall. It is also known the body has been at the location for some time. 

The investigation remains ongoing as of Wednesday morning and the death is undetermined. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday morning.
