Busy Wednesday of arrests, for Beatrice Police

BEATRICE – Beatrice Police have arrested a 35-year-old female for assault and other charges, after they were called Wednesday evening to a Bismark Street home where a male sustained facial and neck injuries in a domestic incident.
Authorities arrested Stephanie Sales for 3rd-degree domestic assault. In the process of being arrested and removed from the residence, she allegedly resisted officers and spat in the face of an officer.
Police said she was also being arrested for assault of a public safety officer with bodily fluid, resisting arrest and child abuse. Authorities said there were children in the home where the domestic assault occurred.

Beatrice Police Wednesday arrested 42-year-old Damien Roland for a second-offense Sex Offender Registry Violation….after observing a verbal altercation in the yard of a residence along South 10th Street. Roland had registered as a transient on March 1st of this year. But, Nebraska Probation officers told police Roland was residing at the South 10th Street address.
Sex offenders in Nebraska are required to register their current address. Police said Roland was also on probation. He is on a 25-year registration order after being convicted of two counts of sexual assault of a child in Jefferson County, in 2007.

Beatrice Police also arrested 48-year-old Debbie Milligan for possession of methamphetamine, following a state probation search of her residence. Authorities found two baggies of suspected methamphetamine.
