Rock thrown through window of Lincoln building

The Nebraska Republican Party Headquarters in Lincoln was reportedly vandalized on Sunday.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Nebraska Republican Party Headquarters in Lincoln was reportedly vandalized on Sunday.

The Lincoln Police Department said police were dispatched to the headquarters, 1600 block of N Street, at 2:00 p.m. for a report of a vandalism.

Officers said they investigated the scene and determined that an individual threw a rock through an exterior window. The damage is estimated at approximately $700.

The investigation is ongoing and officers reported they were reviewing surveillance footage. Anyone with information can contact the Lincoln Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (402)475-3600.
