1983's uniforms are...back? Huskers announce alternate threads

The Huskers football team will be sporting new attire during one of their games this season.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Huskers football team will be sporting new attire during one of their games this season.

Huskers will be wearing a uniform that is a tribute to the "legendary" 1983 team.

The uniforms will include mesh and stripes.

NU Athletics has not announced when the uniforms will be worn.
