Patrick Hotovy to run for District 24 seat

A southern Nebraska Legislative race has a new face.

YORK, Neb. -- A southern Nebraska Legislative race has a new face. 

Patrick Hotovy announced Monday, that he filed the paperwork with the Nebraska Secretary of State to run for the Nebraska Legislature in District 24. 

Hotovy is a family physician in York. He's also served on the York School Board previously. 

Hotovy joins current Seward School Board member Jana Hughes in running for the seat which will open next year once current Senator Mark Koltermann is term-limited out. 

District 24 includes Polk, Seward, York and some of Butler counties.
