Six area athletes selected for Shrine Bowl

LINCOLN — A big group of high school football players from the KUTT/KWBE listening area will play in the state’s most prestigious all-star game.

Six regional athletes were included on the rosters for the 64th Nebraska Shrine Bowl Game, which were announced on Sunday. Kale Consbruck of Norris, Caleb Jones of Beatrice, Elliot Jurgens of Beatrice, Isaac Kracl of Crete, Seth Stutzman of Milford and Cooper Hausmann of Norris were selected to play for the South team. Norris head coach Ty Twarling will be an assistant coach for the South.

The Shrine Bowl is a non-profit event that benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children. The game will be played Saturday, June 4th hat Cope Stadium on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
