Beth Roelfs of Diller named to Nebraska Community Foundation Board of Directors

A southeast Nebraska community leader is joining the board of directors of an influential statewide non-profit.

DILLER, NE — A southeast Nebraska community leader is joining the board of directors of an influential statewide non-profit.

The Nebraska Community Foundations announced Thursday that Beth Roelfs is joining the foundation’s board. Roelfs and her husband Dean are lifelong Diller residents living in rural Jefferson County. As a family, they raise livestock and farm. Roelfs taught at Odell and Diller-Odell Public Schools until her retirement this summer.

Roelfs has served served in multiple roles with Blue Valley Community Action Partnership and is active with the Diller Community Foundation Fund, which is an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation.

The Nebraska Community Foundation is governed by its board of directors. The foundation works to improve Greater Nebraska through its network of affiliate funds.

Kim Engel and Karina Perez were also added to the NCF board.
