LPD: Man arrested for shooting neighbor

A Lincoln man is in critical condition and another is behind bars after a shooting.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Lincoln man is in critical condition and another is behind bars after a shooting. 

Lincoln Police say the call came in Tuesday night. Officers found the 54-year-old victim with gunshot wounds near an apartment along 27th Street. 

Police found 44-year-old James Plagman as the suspect.

He was later arrested without incident and charged with first-degree assault. 

The investigation is ongoing.
