GENEVA, NE — Authorities in southeast Nebraska are asking for the public’s help in finding a white minivan and its owner.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy tired to stop the van for failing to stop at a stop sign in Geneva around 1:45 Sunday morning but it drove off through a neighborhood. The Sheriff’s Office says the van then caused substantial damage to a nearby home and drug a child’s bike for several blocks.

The vehicle is a white Chrysler Pacific with tinted windows, black rims and likely front end damage. The Sheriff’s Office is looking for any security footage from early Sunday morning from streets I, G, F, R, 13th, 15th and 16th.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fillmore County Sheriff Department at 402-759-4441.
