Grand Island man arrested for sexual assault of child

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A Grand Island man is in the Hall County Jail after he reportedly sexually assaulted a teen. 

Thirty-year-old Jose Sanchez, was arrested Tuesday on one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child. 

According to Grand Island Police, officers got a report that Sanchez sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl between April and July of this year. 

Charges are currently pending in Hall County Court.
