Scott Allen Schroeder

It is with loving hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Scott Allen Schroeder. He was born September 12, 1960, and passed away on November 7, 2025, with deep faith in Christ and a life full of love, creativity, and prayer. He was baptized and confirmed in Lutheran Churches of Beatrice, Nebraska. Scott graduated from Tri County High School in 1978 and earned his degree in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska in 1983. His true purpose and calling was “making all things beautiful” for others, which was presented in his music, craftsmanship, horticulture and service. A self-taught musician, he performed with Opera Omaha and at countless weddings, funerals, and hospital bedsides—his voice offering comfort and prayer through the Doxology and The Lord’s Prayer.
Scott poured his soul into everything he created—furniture, mosaics, pottery, gardens, and meals—each one a reflection of his faith and love for others. Every project was a statement, every piece a masterpiece. He found peace in the still waters of the lakes of Minnesota, rising early to catch a sunrise and cast a line in the tranquil waters while listening to the songs of the loon. He found joy in cultivating rose gardens that bloomed with beauty and grace. His creativity was a divine gift, and he used it to bless others without seeking recognition.
Scott was never defined by wealth or title but rather by his God-given gifts. Knowing five languages, Scott could talk easily with anyone, forming friendships that lasted a lifetime. The fruits of his labor were love, joy, peace, faith, meekness, generosity, and loyalty. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing Scott now rests in the eternal peace of his Savior—where the music never ends, the gardens forever bloom, and where the waters eternally flow.
Scott is survived by his sisters, Patricia E.
