This week on NCN's Doane Coach Conversation series, Doane head football coach Jonathan Johnson breaks down his team's strong finish in last week's game against Northwestern, and outlines how meaningful a win against Waldorf in the season finale this weekend would be for the program going forward.

Down big at halftime against a Top 20 team in the NAIA, the Tigers embodied the coaching staff's message of "fight to the finish" by scoring 20 points on Northwestern in the fourth quarter in the snow. Now, the Tigers will need to use that strong finish as a springboard into their season finale against Waldorf this weekend: the Warriors are still in search of their first GPAC win, and Doane wants to make sure their six-hour bus ride to Forest City, Iowa isn't in vain.

The 2025 Doane football season finishes this Saturday in Forest City, Iowa against Waldorf, with kickoff slated for 1 PM. You catch watch the game live on the GPAC Network, and those in the Crete and Southeast Nebraska area can listen to the game on 99.5 FM. Every game will also air live online for free at olred995.com.
